The purpose of this system is to test and confirm the benefits and value of deploying a solar generation plant whose output is more stable and not as impacted by local environmental variations, and whose power is able to be dispatched back into the network at times that are more beneficial to network to ultimately facilitate the reduction of thermal baseload generation.
